People & Culture Coordinator

This is a hybrid position that requires working from our Santa Monica office occasionally and onsite in the LA area as needed for meetings/events. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR The Recording Academy is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Coordinator to support the People & Culture team. You will support hiring and onboarding efforts for full-time, part-time, temporary, intern, and GRAMMY U Representative (GU Rep) positions; maintain HR records, systems, and trackers; coordinate with internal teams and external partners; and assist employees with day-to-day HR support. You will also help facilitate internship program operations, employee engagement initiatives, onboarding and offboarding logistics, and other People & Culture programs and events while handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy supporting employees throughout the full employee lifecycle. You are proactive, collaborative, and service-oriented and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and strong communication across a variety of People & Culture functions. You excel at both the operational and employee-facing sides of HR and take pride in creating a positive and seamless employee experience. WHAT YOU’LL DO Assist with the hiring process for full-time, part-time, temporary, intern, and GRAMMY U Representative (GU Rep) positions. Route and track job requisitions through the approval process for all position types. Liaise with external payroll partners and staffing agencies to onboard contingent workers.
