Executive Assistant, People & Culture

This is a hybrid position that requires working from our Santa Monica office occasionally and onsite in the LA area as needed for meetings/events. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR The Recording Academy is seeking a highly organized and adaptable Executive Assistant to provide administrative and departmental support to the Chief People & Culture Officer and People & Culture team. You are a proactive problem-solver who excels at managing competing priorities, managing up, and navigating sensitive matters with discretion and sound judgment. You have strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively across diverse personalities and stakeholders. WHAT YOU’LL DO Serve as a key point of contact for employees, candidates, new hires, vendors, and internal/external stakeholders, responding to inquiries and coordinating with appropriate People & Culture team members as needed. Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Chief People & Culture Officer, including complex calendar management, high-volume meeting scheduling, travel coordination, expense reconciliation, correspondence, and day-to-day departmental support. Support the New Hire Buddy Program by serving as an initial point of contact for new employees, coordinating buddy assignments, and helping facilitate a welcoming onboarding experience. Update and maintain the internal company newsletter, coordinating and publishing organizational announcements, employee information, and company updates. Complete and respond to employment verification requests from authorized vendors, companies, and third-party organizations. Track departmental initiatives, action items, approvals, and deliverables.
